BOSSY LITTLE PEPPY
APHA
1998 Solid Bay Mare
Grandaughter of
SONITAS LAST & PEPPY SAN BADGER

This mare is all qh bloodlines but her dam had a white spot in her flank and the AQHA would not register at that time. This mare is quite an eye catcher wherever I take her. I have only ridden her in arena situations and at sorting practices. I doubt she's really ever been ridden outside of one as she's not very comfortable when ridden out. She has been known to spook but she doesn't run off, just moves sideways a few steps. However, she can be extremely quick on her feet. She's very light in the mouth and as you can see in the pics, has a naturally low head set. She side passes, knows her leads, backs, easy to tack up, stands for baths, self loads and unloads, stands for clippers & farrier and on and on. I've taken her a lot to the sorting practices and tho she really watches and cow and has been known to drop and cut on one, she's not ready for competition at this time. I have been busy getting my other mare ready for sorting and Bossy has taken a back seat to being ridden at all in the last couple of months. However, she's never fresh or broncy, has never offered to pitch or rear, never even rung a tail, not matter how long it's been since she's been ridden. This mare in the right hands will go far as she knows how to plant a rear foot and come around and can do a sliding stop at times but she's not consistent.

Bossy should throw some awesome colts but we're not into the breeding business!!! She never acts 'marish' and is currently pastured with geldings, mares, colts & llamas. Current Coggins and feet trimmed.
